The Saboteur hopes to provide a fresh twist on the tired WWII setting by casting players as a lone operative in occupied Paris. Working alone, it's your job to bring hope back to France by doing the one thing you know how to do - drive very fast cars and kill an awful lot of Nazis

wow tis nice to see a game with a strong artistic style and nice colours amid the sea of grey and browns we currently sail in. Looks like an interesting game to watch. Which formats is it out on?

Xbox, PC, PS3, apparently. We saw the Xbox 360 version on show, as is usually the case at preview events.

If they can come up with a few more interesting characters and some exciting missions, this could be very good. If it turns out to be a lot like GTA4, that'll be no bad thing.

    Impressive.. really impressive.

Any game that has stealth an climbing always get my attention. Besides that, gorgeous graphics, a glamurous setting, blowing things and killing nazis? Looks like a winning formula!

    Impressive.. really impressive.

I like the sound of this, but I really hope they get an Irish voice-actor for Sean, because I don't think I could stomach a full game of a non-Irishman trying to sound Irish.

Memories of Clive Barker's Undying come flooding back..

Ugh, yes. Otherwise a good game though, until you faced the final sister. The first three were really cool, but the last one changed the game into just a boring fantasy snipe quest.

Aaron though, the artistic brother who haunts the mansion itself, put the shits up me for weeks. Brr.

The only thing that seems to be missing from this game is zombies.
It sounds very interesting, and I will definitely pick up a copy as soon as it releases.

Edit: ...and robots - zombie robots! :D

Yeah, the game really fell down at that point and stopped being scary or exciting, it felt more like Serious Sam than the spooky, tense horror that made up the rest of the game.
The environment didn't have the same kind of polish as the other areas of the game, either, which makes me suspect it was rushed towards the end of the development cycle.

Most of the other more action-oriented sections of the game (Oneiros, The pirate base, etc) worked well and tied into the game nicely without being a pain.

It was a really atmospheric game and had some great setpieces.
I think I might reinstall it, even if the protagonist's accent makes me cringe. :)

I still prefer the PC over my PS3 for games, so hopefully the PC version won't be a bad port. Although 3rd person games do seem to fit the PS3 a bit better.

Bring it on, this looks like my kinda game.
Like Assassin's Creed in WW2 Paris.

As has been said, I just pray they don't make a sloppy port from console... :(
