    I think I'd have to hit up the following;

Bad Religion - We're Only Gonna Die
    Dillinger Four - Holy ****
Dropkick Murphys - Do or Die
Nerf Herder - I Only Eat Candy
The Ramones - Bop 'Til You Drop
    The Queers - I'm ok, you're ****ed
    Tupac - **** 'em All
    AC/DC - Highway To Hell
    Andrew W.K - Party Hard
Black Sabbath - Never Say Die
Motorhead - We Are The Roadcrew
cKy - 96 Quite Bitter Beings
Clutch - The Mob Goes Wild
    Dope - Survive
Iggy Pop - Lust For Life

As mentioned earlier, dope - die mf die is a great choice!

But I would probably go for:

Europe - Final Countdown Just because it suits perfectly

    Or

Drowning Pool - Bodies And this one for the awesomeness!

The only problem with Final Countdown, and believe me I've thought about it, is despite the upbeat tune etc, it's very.. Depressing, given the scenario. Perhaps I'm just a bit too optimistic that luck might prevail >.>

I get what you're saying, but given the scenario and you know that this most likely will be the "final countdown", wouldn't you give it your all, and go out with a bang?

Aye, most certainly would, but I'd rather do it something a little less.. Indicative of the scenario :p

    I've just had a thought..

What if zombies are influenced by music? Surely all this heavy music would just enrage them?

Now this on the other hand ;)

thats why you play music that is so epic it terrifies the fearless.

    with that in mind,
The World Burns by The Haunted
Craving For Another Killing by Hypocrisy
Skin O' My Teeth by Kalmah(Megadeth cover)
Bullet In Your Head by Made of Hate
    Fallout by Made of Hate
Stand Fight and Die by Skeletonwitch
City of a Million Graves by Toxic Holocaust
Erasing Your Existence by Year of Desolation
    Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth
Killing is My Business... and Business is Good by Megadeth
    My Last Words by Megadeth
As the World Burns by Kreator
The Axe Shall Fall by DevilDriver
Break the Fangs of the Wicked by Woe of Tyrants
    Shitstorm by Strapping Young Lad
Destined to be Dead by 8 Foot Sativa

my list can be pretty much summed up by :rock::rock:

upon death: Waste of Time by Paul Gilbert
upon VICTORY: We are the Champions and Another one Bites the Dust both by Queen(obviously)

    hm...tough choice.
iTunes and a playlist consisting of the following:
    Slayer - Angel of Death
Dream Theater - The Spirit Carries On
    Mindless Self Indulgence - Stupid M. F.
    Mastodon - Blood and Thunder
Skid Row - Slave to the Grind
    Clawfinger - God is Dead
Clawfinger - Hate yourself with Style
    UnExpect - Chromatic Chimera
Def Leppard - two steps behind
Rage Against the Machine - Bomb Track
    Uriah Heep - Easy Livin'

loads of songs. Less fixated on the situation, but only to hear the most important/influential songs in my life again

For my final final stand, as I go down, overpowered by zombies.

Played on speakers I stole from Glastonbury Festival. Just as an ICBM goes off in the background...

I think I've just found out how I want to die!!

Last stand album: Metallica - Master of Puppets.

    for single songs/playlist
    Slayer: Raining Blood
    Slayer: Disciple
Morbid Angel: Eyes to See, Ears to Hear (One of my favorite solos of all time)
    Skindred: Nobody
Metallica: Damage INC. "**** it all and ****ing no regrets."

basically anything fast and booming, preferable with double bass drums kicking is even better.
