As the title says the number 4 key and the space bar do not work, the model number on th back of laptop has rubbed off but I think its the satellite A200 it looks exactly like it except the keyboard is black and touchpad is grey

Anyway I have taken both keys off and cleaned the dust from underneath however the keys still do nothing, when the keys were removed I tried pressing the thing in the middle in even if you pressed it right in the space bar or number 4 would not work, what else can I try to get this to work?

You'd probably be better off just replacing the keyboard outright. Here's one for less than a tenner delivered.

If I remember that laptop correctly, its just a case of removing the trim strip that runs along the top of the keyboard, remove two screws, lift up, unplug, replace.
