congrats on front page!
what was the mouse to begin with before you put it on steroids?
GJ but its missing some smoothness for my eye but I like it though
I vote for a casting tutorial, as well.
I would also like to see some pictures and a quide about actual casting.
You really done an absolutley perfect job on the first one.
I want a how-to on the csating as well, you get everything so fine.
One Q: Is the plastic frame that holds the board and parts together reinforced with the steel frames or does it jest get held by the plastic bottom?
i second(third? fourth?) the casting tutorial plea
For casting you need some special equipment such as a smelting furnace for example.
Unfortunately I don’t know English fluently so I’m afraid I won’t be able to describe the process of casting in details. I’m trying to illustrate it with the help of photos as you see.
At last I’ve had a little spare time and I am going to continue my new mouse mod. I’ve changed something in the back of this mod.
I’ve cast and soldered some parts of the base of the mouse.
On the photo you can see the results of the preliminary assembling.
very very nice could you show a picture with your hand on the mouse?
The hand is on the mouse.
another one screaming for a tutorial. plz do more pix of the molds. doing a good mold isnt easy and iam shure you can tell us some dirty tricks. the rules of casting should be equal to nearly every metal.
and btw ...your english is fine.
That it too cool.
