Sometimes I just feel like writing, and here is the first chapter of a story I'm writing called The Starsalor (lol, it's just like I'm a real author or something...) I hope you like it as I haven't done anything like this (lol, what I really mean is: just don't read it and use your time for drooling on something ) The StarSailor -Chapter 1 It was a cold dark night. I looked at the stars, but found nothing but emptyness. Gone. Suddenly I saw a bright light coming towards me from the sky. It took a couple of seconds till I understood I had to move away from it. I started walking. Faster and faster, as the bright light grew. The night vanished and light fill the emptyness. It was getting hotter. I ran faster. When I tried to look at the light my eyes were blinded. Even more faster. Just a moment ago I couldn't see because of the dark, now I couldn't see because of the light. Tired. I heard a sound. Louder and Louder. Exhausted. Then came the fall. Deeper and deeper into the dark. Infinite vacuum. Endless darkness "Atyp Oyka reporting sir!" I opened my eyes. The sweat was running down my head. I had a daydream. I was confused, it was so realistic. "Thank you atyp Oyka, please, sit" I couldn't concentrate. Why was Oyka here? I tried to remember. Oyka noticed. "Is there something wrong, sir?" Yes there was. I was just awaken. Awaken from life. From death. "No nothing Oyka." Oyka was a young man, around his twenties. He had a wife and a daughter. Three weeks ago they were married for 5 years. He, far away from home. She, alone with a child. If I could I'd send him home. But I couldn't. "Tell me atyp, why are you here?" Oyka and I knew each other for a very long time, yet we're not as close as one would think. "You sent me here, sir" There were 7249 people aboard the ship. "Right..." I don't have a wife nor children, I don't have any family left and my home was destroyed by the Coran. "You sent me here for a report, sir!" He must've noticed I couldn't remember why he was here. "Then report, atyp!" I was a SubLac, the second in command. Beneath me are the atyp, lyap and the intac. Above me is the Ytzarc, which had ultimate power over the ship. There were 124 atyp, 583 lyap and about 3000 intac. 15 Sublac plus me, and 1 Ytzarc. "Thank you sir! Report number 248: The astronomical party of the ship has discovered 12 planets worth exploring in the next couple of weeks. There could be a winner between them." "Is that all?" "Yes sir!" "Then you can leave atyp." "Sir yes sir! Thank you sir!" The sir-ing was getting on my nerves. It always did. I hated it. Our ship was the InterPlanet 1, a.k.a. IpEx. It was the first ship built by the commision of startravelling. Our mission was to explore space and find planets on which humans can live on. We didn't had any contact with earth for 3 years. I looked at the clock. Almost 1 o'clock. For me, sleep had become rare, and I couldn't remember the last time I had some food. I queried the database for the data of the planets. My eyes couldn't focus properly anymore. Guess my body refuses to go on without sleep. I put the computer on stand-by and walked over to my bed. I put some milk in the microwave for some hot chocolat. The dream was still floating in my brain. So clear. So real. For the time I've spent here, I knew very few people, but everyone knew me. My main skill was computers. I could do anything with computers. I was known for that, but I hate to admit it in public. I looked at the sky. The stars weren't as bright as normal, but I couldn't care less. I drank my chocolat and went straight to sleep. The clock has been set to wake me in 3 hours...
That story is good so far. I have always wanted to write my own sci-fi story like that but have never gotten around to it. Maybe I will try to set some time aside. I like chapter 1, now where's the rest???

Yeah, I actually read it. I got bored at home last night and had nothing else to do since it is very hot out and I didnt feel like moving so I read it. But I thought it was pretty good, it was always something that I wanted to do. Waiting for chapter two.
