It's been a long time since last update, but here it is. :)

I had to remake my plans and put the 240mm rad vertical instead of horizontal. This leaves no room for the reservoirs, but I'll figure it out as I go along! (as usual!) :)

Cut the hole for the 240 radgrill after removing some soundproofing:

Unfortunately someone scratched the sidepanel :wallbash: but I'll just have to paint it along with the back. But then again I probably need to paint the whole thing to get a uniform shade of white! :)

I also did a quick test of the smd's on the 120 grill. Only one side mounted with the led's and keep in mind that the outer 8mm's all the way around will not be visible as they are for mounting in the case.

This is only on one side, there will be lights on all 4 sides!

I'm quite happy with the way the light disperse in the acrylic. Nothing like the normal straight led light! :)

Well, that's it for now. C ya soon! :)

Lovely. I've been hearing this case is tricky to add a radiator to. Have you thought about lopping off some drivebays yet? The flush look is sweet, but you could have used the soundproofing to make an airtight seal with the radiator. I guess sometimes you have to choose only one snazzy trick.

-Don't encourage licking. Remember what happened to your finger?

Very nice and even better since you flush mounted. :)

Uh... Maybe I should copyright that feature!

Thanks a lot! And yes, you may say that! :p

    Thanks man! :)

There is no trick to add a radiator. The trick is to make room for everything else!

I don't have room for the reservoirs as it is, so I've gone in hiding thinking about the whole thing! :) Using the soundproofing would be hell. Remember the side is put on and then it slides into place.

Every time I look at my finger, or use powertools, I remember what happened to my finger. Not sure what that has to do with licking though, but please do explain!

Thanks! Yeah, stuff just looks a lot better when flush! :)

Thank you! :) I think I might have sold the design though, but we'll see! :)

Very small update, as they are these days from my part.

Just wanted to show you how the 240 radgrill looked without protective coating. It was pretty stupid of me to put the thing in, as I still need to cut out another window, but I just had to see! :)

Not too bad if you ask me! :)

DAMN! I just tried to wire the smd's up to 12v. I've just been using a 9v battery for test purpose, and in all honesty I was not really impressed about the light they gave. Tested the battery and it was down to 7.6v so I went with a 12v psu I have. My eyes hurts now!

    Insert happy Angel here!

Probably gonna paint the fan housings white as well, to give a little edge! :)

Right now I'm drawing up a sketch of the electronics for the dvd-drive. Ph.d. student at work owes me a favor for machining some parts for a homemade quad-copter, and I'm cashing in! :)

Next up is to make a plate to cover the PSU, and cut an extra hole in the side. Also a hole in the other side and one in the top part of the case. So much to do, so much time wasted on BF3 with my new gfx card!

Edit: If things work out, the PSU cover plate should look something like this:

    C ya soon guys!

I didn't catch the periodic table until Furball made the comment. Very cool.
The DNA grill cover looks almost three dimensional.
    It's coming together nicely.
