In tandem with the frustration thread, and as suggested by Krikkit, What makes you smile through the course of the day. For me: - Genuinly nice people on the phone (I'm on tech support) - Taking the car for a random drive - Nice BMW drivers (smile of disbelief) - Proving a point when someone says something against it beforehand - Going down the pub - Seeing the missus when I get in from work - Dominoes Pizza Discuss
- Finding a good deal on some electronic device/equipment/random gadget. - Morning BJ's! - Random smiles and meeting glances on the street. - Writing scripts that work right straight away. - Asian chicks... (well hell, we all have our fetishes) - Demotivational posters And I'll add these from Brooxy to my own list: - Genuinly nice people on the phone (I'm not on tech support, but am frequently on the phone) - Taking the car for a random drive - Proving a point when someone says something against it beforehand - Seeing the missus when I get in from work
Out smarting stupid people... My single calling in life at the moment... Oh, watching six nations in the pud with some good beer... and other stuff that I can't go into for, lets say legal reasons...
Ah, you'll have to be careful with that. As soon as those asians get into your brain there's no way to get them back out. Edit: You edited your original text didn't you? Well then my response makes no sense.
yes i did because I am running off 2hrs of sleep and am trying to keep my self from saying something stupid, but that should change around the time I go to physics and calculus today. Another thing that makes me smile: - NOT having to go to classes
Curteous drivers, who let you out and say thanks A good drive out on the moor roads Nights out with mates
I'll take all of those and add: Working on something for hours (car, bit of DIY, Photo, anything akward) and have it turn out just great. Just getting things working in general, a great sense of achievement. Part of why I like supporting Exchange I guess. Watching live music and performances. Managing to shoot someone in Airsoft that thinks they have the drop on you and getting "damn, nice shot mate" back. Lan parties with good friends. Getting a new game that turns out to be just as good as you hoped. The smell of new electronics/PC hardware. (odd I know)
Thanks to the thread starter, I'm liking this thread much more than the other one! - Freshly cut grass (hopefully along with the smell of a 2-stroke mower). - Waking up early and realising you don't have to get up yet. - That one drive in the summer, when the sun is shining, the windows are down and the music is just right. - Driving in snow. - Hell, just driving anywhere. - Seeing a technical bit of scientific discovery, and knowing how it works - Telling people at parties that you do Physics, then watch them back away to the tune of "Oh, that's nice!". - Going to the pub. - A really messy kill in a multiplayer game, like L4D. - Dicking all over someone who was cracking wise about being awesome over the internet.

Trolling people into uncontrollage rages. That sense of peace just after doing a gig for friends, you know that first breath after you finished singing and everythings just fine Blasting out Victorious guitar pieces and getting compliments from the street below (learn Epilogue by Opeth, you'll know what i mean) That smell of new music gear (EHX memory man had the best smell as it came in a wooden box ) Longboarding - going down a nice downhill section and nailing every turn, and girls giving you the eye Seeing whatever you've worked on for months roll off a production line, not hurting anyone, above specification and under budget simple things
