Hi everyone . I have a new scratchbuild and today i would like to introduce to you . I want to talk briefly about ideas. First I want it as compact as possible. Therefore, I chose an ITX motherboard , a SFX PSU ... And because of the bit greedy, I would be watercooling for it . Spec hardware : - MB: Gigabyte Z270N Wifi - CPU : Intel I5 6400 - VGA: Gigabyte GTX 1050Ti G1 4GB - Ram : Corsair Vengeance RGB 16GB Bus 2666 - SSD : Plextor S1C M2 SSD 128GB - PSU : FSP Dagger 500W 80Plus Gold Some picture : - CPU and Bitspower waterblock : - Mainboard : - VGA : Install waterblock : - PSU : I replaced with shorter cable - SSD : - Ram : Ok . First I will try the acrylic sheets : This size seems okay : 270 x 220 x 165 ( mm ) . And aluminum ( 5mm) is used as the main material The cnc process is complete : After folding and mounting test : And test everything to see if it fits : DDC-LT Pump : Compared to a cup of coffee :
Very nice and small too. I'm actually planning a build with the same exterior shape and very similar in size.
Ok . I will proceed with hardware setup I use mayhem UV Blue and UV led 5050 : _MG_9839 by Sơn Đặng Thái, on Flickr _MG_9837 by Sơn Đặng Thái, on Flickr _MG_9829 by Sơn Đặng Thái, on Flickr Finish :
Awesome job. -The back of the motherboard needs insulation, though. One clumsy guest, or a dropped penny and zap!
Mod of the month simply for that fastening design, don't be put out if you see that in one of my future builds Awesome work
I am very impressed with your design and the cnc work done. The cuts to support your folds at the ends produced near perfect parts and your threaded bar stock concept is one that I had not seen before. Thank you for sharing your project.
This is really cool man. Good work on the ITX sizing. In a bunch of ways, you can actually make a smaller build by specifically using liquid cooling, right!? I see that your power supply sits where a traditional air cooler would go for the CPU and your case doesn't need to be as tall to accommodate the usual hefty GPU cooling setup. Above that, I'm jealous of your sandblasting and metal finishing facilities, the finish looks awesome and that finish on a commercial product is usually quite expensive.
