Got Bioshock from my girlfriend. BFI's The Cinema Book (2007 edition!!) from her family. Call of Duty 4 from my brother. A hooded top from my mum. ...and loads of food and little bits and bobs. Brilliant stuff. Hopefully the new TV should arrive on Friday. Lord knows how I'm gonna get my dissertation done!

you think so? I thought OldBoy was the best, then sympathy for lady vengeance, then mr. vengeance. But it's hard, they're excellent in my book.
GPS Photography lighting stuff (lightstand, flash, umbrella, etc) Various toasty warm clothing Chocolates Ansel Adams book Plus I just bought myself a 360 12-month gold card and one of those spacenavigator knobs with some of the cash, and will probably be picking up a four gig kit of RAM for my laptop quite soon.
Pretty rubbish this year, 2x smellies (deodrant, bodywash, aftershave) 1x cookery book 1x bottle of Jack Daniels 4x bottle of beer The bottle of JD definately the highlight. My presents (for others) went down well though. Maybe next year I should just say I'll buy for myself nobody buy me anything.
Nothing. This year I and my family decided we had enough "stuff" so we banded together and donated money to a local charity. It felt quite good actually. (Last year we made separate donations.)
I agree, but i might still buy it because it is a good film but not better than oldboy by miles. I will get it to complete the trilogy as my Korean film collection is still expanding.
I thought lady vengeance was pretty funny. Hah, my korean film collection is expanding as well. Some good stuff out there not in English, the problem is finding it in the first place.
nearly all the films i have are in subtitles, not sure why, but i just seem to hate all these american films and stuff, english films i dont seem to mind. maybe its just americans. but yeah, about 90% of films i have are 'world cinema' i thought lady vengeance was a good film, but if you compare it to the others, (which you probably shouldnt, as the only thing in common is the theme) then its the worst of the three. i really need to get Infernal Affairs trilogy on DVD too awesome films.
