I planned a blue 5mm led for power signal, and a bi-color led for the HDD activity,
the led will be green when there's no activity, and will turn into red when the HDD will ba active.....
I painted the 5mm led clips to blue, again, with a base color of white.
Probably tomorrow i'm getting the AXP 1700+ processor and the FlyVideo 2000 TV Card !!!
pay attention to the blue led's head shape - it is rounded more then standart....
now the bi-color led
What kind of software does it take to interface with that button array?
I could use something like it
Hear hear... I'd like to know more about what software you're planning on using - along with if you're sticking with Windows or going with a Linux varient.
AH! MY EYES! j/k
Out of curiosity, what made you go with day-glow paint?
it is UV paint.
the guide with the software - http://www.modasylum.com/guides.php?guide=21http://www.modasylum.com/guides.php?guide=21
I made the LCD (20*4) support, with plexi and two simple screws....
I broke it !!!!!!
I broke my LCD !!!!!!!
now I have some columns that are not working.....
the only way to use it, is as a Graphic Equalizer...
Dude, that blows chunks... Sorry to hear it
BTW: Do you mean spectrum analyzer and not graphic equalizer? I would still like to know the OS & software you plan on using for the front-end
I'll use probably WinXP...
Avner: that sucks! will you get another one or will you leave it?
and dad: Im sure he ment that thing you see on Winamp when you play music
I already wrote what software i'm using...
look the post before the LCD pic's, I gave the link to the guide.... here is the message http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?postid=433997#post433997
anyway, here is the link for the guide, where you can find what software i'm using
I'm probably not going to buy a new LCD....
but i will maybe use this one.. although many columns are missing...
the Flyvideo 2000 and the AXP 1700+ - probably next week
Today I buyed some RCA connectors.... I didn't find exactly what I wanted, but I will start with this...
4 Female RCA connectors ~50 cent each and 4 male connectors - ~50 cent each too
And 5 meters of speaker cable - ~50 cent per meter
tested on a sample plexi
I installed all the Audio input connectors on a plexi piece, just as a sample...
stereo "quick connector"
two RCA connectors - Right & Left
two mono 3.5 jack's - Right & Left
Whoops, My bad
Let Me guess... All Electronics?
I'm sorry to announce it.... but I have to....
the project is queued.....
i'm running out of supplies for the project - I have two pack's stuck in the post office..... they don't work.....
today I am buying the flyvideo and the AXP 1700+, then all work on the system will stop.
If ill continue it, probably it will be re-built all plexi...
Thank for understanding,
it was looking pretty good. hopefully it can continue in time.
