I am starting this thread to thank everyone in the community that has made donations of equipment and games. This is the only forum/site that I have been a part of that has had giveaways and as many contest as Bit-Tech does. I am truly grateful and in awe of the generosity of everyone here. I want to personally thank the following people that I have received gifts from. The Great Satan (to many things donated for me to count including a full computer build) Mnet_Gaming (burnout) Rhydian (Dead Space 3) October (Guerrilla) GoodBytes for his NvGPU Pro software contribution I know that I'm missing a few people and I apologize for that but your generosity is greatly appreciated. Let's have a big round of for all these guys/girls.
Well, thank you very much! Very much appreciated A mini gift for your thanks: Next version will be a bit more interesting: http://www.helpweaver.com/preview1.png http://www.helpweaver.com/preview2.png Oh and yes big thanks to The Great Satan for his many giveaways!
You won a prize from me in what was one of the most complicated giveaways ever, I'm not surprised you forgot about it. There really is a nice bunch of people on this forum, to all of you.
I'm only a watcher so far and concerning my post counter a newbie but still i've witnessed how generous and nice people around here are. Way above the average for the internet . So for all i say "Thank you!" too
My apologies CrazyJoe I did overlook your generosity. And I'm very grateful to you and everyone else for their generosity. I hope that I have not overlooked anyone else if I did I apologize. This has to be the best and most generous community I have ever belonged to.
A while ago I won Bioshock Infinite from TGS, the ultimate giveaway god. Needless to say, I am extremely grateful. However, I would also like to give gratitude to Pookie, who won Metro Last Light in the same giveaway. He already owned Metro, and I already owned Bioshock. After a bit of discussion we swapped the keys - this would not have been possible if Pookie wasn't a great individual too. I guess this applies for anyone who is willing to give a fair trade with someone else.
Must say thanks to all who have given me advice while on the forums. Also special thanks to; GaryP - For kindly sending me a Freezer Pro so I wouldn't have to kick the missus out of my man cave (yes she is allowed in my man cave!). TGS - For being awesome (and Far Cry 3). Lp rob1 - For providing a competition which I won Rhydian - For the game code (given with the best intentions) Also worth noting the guys who I have had dealings with in the Marketplace for showing how easy it is for us to trade hardware. And to all for providing a community where I actually belong.
Thanks to Krikkit and Lord_A for (years ago) sorting me out with replacements parts for my poorly but beloved PS2. Thanks to TheGreatSatan for Dirt: Showdown. Thanks to SuicideNeil for Borderlands 2. Thanks to azrael- for Far Cry 3. Thanks to all who I've had dealings with over the years, swapping a laptop for an RC car, mucho SSDs, motherboards, cpu's, a printer I think, a 32" LCD TV, blummin' eck, there's been some bits and bobs And thanks to all on here who make this broom cupboard so warm and inviting.
I bought your TV and it still provides me wonderful watching experiences when I am at my computer (not porn) I like this gang it's a nice place. (thanks shirty you're my hero) edit: And I think Dynamis sorted me out a USB cable I needed once - you are also my hero.
Come now, a little thank you should not be met with that kind of attitude. At any rate, I give a hearty appreciation to GreatSatan for providing me with hours of gaming fun with the games he's given me. And of course, that user who gave me Half Life 2. I needed to play it.
I agree with this sentiment most of all. I have given a way quite a bit of stuff (admittedly without much fanfare as most of it was in the marketplace) and have received some wonderful prizes on this forum too. The highlights for me were the £100 KustomPCs voucher kindly supplied by Tel in his funny story thread and the beautiful FF watercolour I received from Throbbi (painted by his good lady). Both genuinely moving and meaningful gifts My thanks also go out to TGS for the couple of games I've won from him over the past 12 months, and anyone I've had the odd bits donated from to get me out of a pickle. Remember - you don't have to be wealthy to put a smile on somebody's face Oh and Margon, you're my hero too
