    On subject though; CD Projekt are fast becoming one of my favourite game producers. No DRM and free DLC. WIN!

    I stormed through the first chapter of this game, and decided to take a break for a bit as I had other things to do and didn't wanna play it in little chunks. Might was for this patch to resume, see what else it adds to the engine.

    CD Projekts are indeed a great company, I hope this game made them a shed load of cash.

    Awesome, I knew v2 was coming so thought I might wait to finish the game. Now I know there's a dark mode I think I'll finish my first pay through and have a second go with the higher difficulty (and new shinies :D)

    Will be getting this indefinitely. I'm currently on my second play-through and have clocked 55 hours in total. Stunning game in every aspect.

    Yeah same here & even though I haven't had a good chance to play it I bought it on release direct from them, truth is if game devs/pubs put out truly awesome games & give gamers credit as not being pirates they will make many fans of them :clap:.

    I managed to have a little play time into it & it rocked :).

    Is that a sale price? Anyone played this on an older system? I've been hesitant to pick it up as I'm on a C2D and 9800gtx+. . . .

    It's on a 40% discount until Monday 07:59 GMT (see the related GOG post).

    It *should* run on your system but you may need to stick with Low settings (the minimum spec is a 2.2GHz Core Duo, 1GB RAM on Win XP, 2GB on Vista/7, 512MB RAM video card supporting Pixel Shader 3.0 - Nvidia 8800/ATI Radeon HD3850 onwards).

    thanks for that - it's kind of what I expected with the settings. I enjoyed the first one that I think I'm gonna wait until I upgrade so I can enjoy the second in all it's HD glory.
