I did get tracked once but I had braked in front of them so I couldn't really blame them.

I am now sporting both fully upgraded cromwell and churchill tanks.

That 75mm Vickers HV gun is excellent! It benefits from the accuracy and RoF of the british but with good pen and damage. It can be mounted on both the speedy but weak cromwell or the lumbering but thickly armoured churchill.

Infact both tanks seem to share a lot of the same modules in terms if guns and radio's so you get dual benefit in climbing the med and heavy tree at the same time.

Personally I prefer the cromwell, but I am going to work my way up a tier to the chuchill VII and see how it goes anyway.

Although ramming hostiles is also a blast in such a fast tank like the cromwell. Just make sure your packing sprawl liners :)

I have a bone to pick with you lot. Why did no one tell me how much fun the JagdPanther is?!!?!?! I've literally not had this much fun in a TD since the Marder. Not even my beloved Hellcat is this much fun.

Got my first Mastery Badge and Top Gun this evening. In a T82 on Karelia - 7 dead and I was the last left attacking their final base camper. Bloody good little tank.

just wait till you get your perks sorted ;) when played right its leathal I can quite happily get 4-5 kills a game with it. Clutch braking also means you can traverse quick enough to stop people trying to circle you. That or you just drive off.
Love mine it is just like a bigger more dangerous marder! If you check my stats its easily my most played tank my user name is step83

I use a commander ability called sixth sense, which gives you an indication if you have been spotted, very usefull in a TD. There is also an ability that reveals a spotted enemy for an additional 2 seconds.

Also get your self the 10.5 cm gun, it's a monster for how much damage and pen it has. I also use a tank gun rammer for a 10% reduction in reload time, a camo net for 25% camo bonus and binocular telescopes for 25% extra view range when stationary.

I had sixth sense but found I think its eagle eye more useful it tells you what modules/crew are damaged. Also got recon with the telescope and the rest of the crew have camo as one skill the clutch breaking situational awareness and one on repair can't remember which I have its the top gun max of about 400 dmg?
Either was its a great fun tank munching through IS3s tiger 2s T29-T34s ok its not a mega earner but huge fun to play with.

    2,562 kg
    VIII
    10,5 cm PaK 45 L/52
    40
    320/320/420 HP
    200/244/60 mm
    1,030 /10 /650
    7.32 r/m
    0.34 m
    1.7 s
    -8 °/+14 °
    16,800

I assune those numbers are stock and dont take crew skill into account?

I really like eagle eye as well. It's great for deciding between track/turret/gun on an enemy when your shooting it. I teamed that up with deadeye (more module damage) to really compound the module damage I can do on my type 59.

I now have 6th sense going but that could take another 100 battles or so. (As I need 104000 xp to do that)

I have been getting brothers in arms a lot recently. It's not a massively obvious difference but everything does feel that little bit more well rounded. Kind of like the difference between buying a tank with 75% crew and one with 100% crew. With ventilation and other bits and bobs my T32 has crew operating at 122% for primary skill :D

They should be for crew at 100%. Use the long 88. iirc it has better dpm, is slightly more accurate and the shells cost 25% those of the 10.5.

They are stock figures, WOT normalised them a little while back. Just checked im using the 105 as well, faster aim time and not much difference DPM wise but its has better damage than the long 88

    Dare I say it...

Scr*w module damage and just shoot them, possibly useful on a TD but on a medium looking to hit modules is a waste of time as most of the time your on the move.

Can someone tell me what the point is of knowing which modules are damaged on an emeny tank? Do those modules suddenly become weaker and easier to shoot?

I always assumed that a yellow module is more likely to go red...

And 23ro, the point is that if you can track a TD then you can shoot him in the ASS!

That's not the reason I'd find it useful - though with things like the ammo rack and fuel, there is a higher chance of explosion/fire if the module's pre-damaged.

I'd find it useful as it will tell you whether the tank around the corner is ready to be an effective machine, or crippled with many damaged modules - this could mean the difference between rushing out in a medium and easily destroying it, or staying back and being reserved if you know your tank is inferior - wait for them to make the move. It's tactical knowledge that is easy to exploit.

Got randomly invited to join a clan today after a fairly awesome battle in my arty :) My German isn't as good as it was 16 years ago though so I'd imagine comms would be tricky. Still nice to be asked (even if the guy asking had atrocious stats and was second in command of the clan )

I find it handy to know if the engines for examples been knocked out or the gun! also shows wounded crew so you can use that on big tanks to work out best how to slow them down if you know you cant kill them.
It basically opens up some nice tactical options
