Ah, haven't quite reached the Chaffee myself so I'm not yet familiar with the fun that can be had with it.
I do hear a lot of people expressing enjoyment with it during matches though.

The Cromwell is one of the most op tanks (bar the KV-1S) I've ever had the pleasure of using! though it's also the only line I've ever dropped when I got to the Centurion (Oh my god I hated that tank).

 

IMHO there two OP tanks in WOT. Kv1 with 122 mm gun and WT auf e100. I haven't played new kv1s but on kv1 I blow it away with 2 shots. And I forgot fv304!!! Real PITA!!!

Originally I found the Waffle op but now I've learned to deal with them they're not so bad. It's actually the tier 8 RHM that I find op due to 1. It's size 2. It faces tier 6 at times and I find it lethal to my tier 8 nevermind poor tier 6!

Not having used the 'new' KV-1 or fought it much I can't really comment on it unfortunately.

Wow nice going! I'm afraid I can't compete with that I only get around 1800-1900WN8 (which to be fair I'm fairly happy with). Though I had a hilarious run last night with my E50M, I lost 13 battles in a row with it! Can't even give the excuse that I played especially badly, just hilarious teams and many games that were thrown away. Ah well that's WOTs for you (or any online game really).

Break my highest Damage and highest XP earn record from this battle

Really happy with this one as T-54 is also one of the hardest tank to Ace

Do you use the D-10T2C or the D-54 on the T-54?

 

D-10T2C - faster reload, faster aim time and much better accuracy. Pen is still enough for most of the cases, I carry 15 HEAT rounds for T10s and T9 heavies

 

When I played t54 I also use d-10* gun but I carry up to 30 heat shells. It's really annihilating tank. Done ace with 5,5k of dmg and 6 frags. Now trying to ace t62a. Done it on ob.140 with 6,3k dmg and 5 frgs.

I am still confuse between t62a and obj140, though i think in the end i will go for t62a first, bcoz of its turret armor

 

Gah - I really hate coming across either of those tanks in battle. they fall into my T57 Heavy & Twatchillion category, OP tanks who's weaknesses impact them much less than other tanks weaknesses.
I guess however, given how often I see tanks like that getting killed, I'm sure they feel the same against the vehicles that take them out too. So maybe that is a sign that the confusing Rock, Paper, Shotgun mechanics of WoT are working as designed lol!

That being said, when the game loads and you see some of the XVM stats of the good players, in those types of tanks, you know they are going to have a massive impact on the battle.

 

Generally with those if im in a TD ill try and track them in the open where they tend to get mobbed, that or a BL-10 round to the back half of the turret which usually sends them reeling from module/crew damage.
If you take a big chunk of HP out of one quickly they tend to change their play style knowing they could be taken out pretty quickly.

My win rate is crashing down around me even if my average damage and Wn8 have been going up. Just don't get it. Also had a 13 loss streak in my E50M just Lol.

Regarding the Russian meds, T62 is good, obj140 is insane.

 

Ob140/t62a dilemma is pretty confusing. This tanks a bit different. T62a is more position and sniper while 140 is more rider and devastator. It's easy to get 3-4k dmg per battle because they have ultrahigh dpm and good pen. I use heat round only for heavyarmoured targets as jgpz e100 etc. also they have excellent stabilization. 140>62. One can hit someone 300 m away while running from the hill and turning turret like chopper propeller. But they have almost no body armor and very sensitive ammoracks and fuel tank.
