Dont really like the case, but nice read none the less. On the pic of the external ports on the front of the case (first page), someone got caught snapping if you look in the bottom right.....photos are usaully good here, someone should mentor a little more.....and give the case a dust down too. :p

    peace

What's with those silly flaps on the front? Other than those this case reminds me too much of the Antec 900 - I liked that case when I saw it (and even defended it when it got a not so great review) but after installing a system in one I wasn't too impressed.

So then it's only the moderators that are "locked in the dungeons and kept in chains"? :hehe:

How in the hell did you give it a 9 in "ease of use" when you said it took you like 10 minutes to get the side door off?

Because that was only due to me not reading the manual etc. It was fairly easy to do once you spotted it and as long as you had long fingernails. Aside from that the case was really easy to work with - plenty of room, cable ties etc provided and a removeable motherboard tray.

We did end up like children for a good 20 minutes playing with all the bits and trying to break the hard drive cages

I own the version of the armour before this (with the massive side fan-which i wish I hadnt gone for now). I dont like this new take but its almost practically the same. The horrible plastic on the top is worse than before but at least the front i/o ports are in a better place and front e-sata is nice addition.

Am i the only one who likes the front flaps? (Mine came with a magnetic catch to hold them when shut but an optical drive could still knock them open). I admit there just a novel feature but they do fit inwith the armor theme

Yeah, a few of us. It's a bugger to find e-ATX cases, and when you do they don't come cheap.

In RE: the handle on the back. It's nice to have a handle on the mobo tray, and the length is not an issue since your cables will stick out at least as far as the handle. If anything, the handle will prevent you from shoving the case against the wall and pulling out or damaging the cables.

    Otherwise, I agree, it's Fugly

how did it take you so long to open up? and does it really look that bad?? there are vasty more garish and unattractive cases out there. for what this case is (and now can be had for £108) its the tops, if you wanted to whack in 2 Radeon HD 4870 x2's then this is the case to have. Personally i'm waiting for the Spedo case, as its like this, but better, and with a second 23cm fan in the top :)

I think the Tt armour plus is a great looking case .... and when he mentioned about the latch to open the back of the case being hard to open is because you need to leave the middle thumb screw on and lift it up thus releasing the latch

OMG! I wish I had run across this earlier! Obviously you people are dumb as a doorknob! I'm a woman and I didn't have any problems opening or installing anything. Who posted something about the front flaps not being detailed in the manual? You don't know how to reach over and open those little flaps? How do get out of your house? Does someone have to open the door for you? Just get out your crayons and stick to simple cases you can understand.
