I think they'll have trouble at that price. Then again it's not really my type of case.

Case reviews must be a tad tricky, most come with a limited number of fans and I would expect most of us on here will add more and/or at least change the ones that come in a case.

Judging real life cooling ability then gets a tad troublesome. I wouldn't be surprised if some cases that perform more poorly out of the box may be better performers than other, 'better', out of the box cases when both have additional fans added.

Anyway, it looks like it performs pretty well but in reality, at that price, it doesn't really inspire me.

Is there some sort of unspoken competition going on between case manufacturers at the moment?
Who can make the ugliest case.......

Great, so another black knobbly plastic mess that attracts dust like McDonald's attracts obese kids, and just as impossible to keep clean.
And unique too, completely unlike the Antec Black Fleet series, the Coolermaster HAF series, Thermaltake's own Armor cases, various NZXT and Sharkoon models, innumerable no-brand generic "gaming" cases...

its all the same old same old. Surely case designers can see innotive designs from Case Modders on this very site (as well as many others) that could capture the imagination, instead of just changing the way the mesh looks or painting the inside black
The TTLevel 10 bold statement, the TJ107 fantastic case not yet ( in my opinion ) bettered to-date Lian li made a bit of an effort with the snail I guess but in all the hundreds of cases only three stand out .. sadly not for me this its too bla bla, style with functionality .. its not too much to ask is it? Apparently so

I have been reading a few case reviews here on bit-tech and I was wondering if someone could explain to me why there is no test results for the maximum cooling potential of cases (i.e. all the possible fan positions are filled, regardless of whether they come with the case)? Surely this needs more than a side mention in reviews and actually testing.

This has been done to death, in the mag forum IIRC.

The issues are additional testing time, which fans to use, what it does to the value scores etc..

If all cases are tested as provided by the manufacturer, then at least the review is honest and you can make an informed choice. If bit-tech start adding fans, for improved cooling, what about noise and vice versa?

I'd love to get a look at this "gamer" bloke that all these case manufacturers are chasing. I just don't get the size of the thing - it's enormous and ugly. Mind you at my age perhaps I'm looking for a little atx number from IKEA in birch... now there's an idea.

Agree with the "souless" kinda comment, but tbh, cooling looks insane if you added 2 200mm fans.
