    Hey all,

This might seem rather strange, but could any of you owning TT Tsunami Dreams take a picture of the door lock for me, as seen from inside the second door? My lock doesn't work (it's in two pieces) and I have no idea what's wrong with it. It's been like that since it arrived from the factory--the lock literally fell out when I opened the door--so I'm wondering if I'm missing a piece.

    Thanks bunches.

Cant you take a pic, and maybe we can figure it out for you.

Hey Burnout, any linkage on the "famous crappy build quality"? I've had a few TTs now and I've been pretty impressed - but I dont want to walk into a mine-field on my next build

Depends on which TT case you get.. I've got myself the armor and its big, heavy, and I love it, but it's not what it used to be when I bought it... the window isn't the best looking anymore, its a bit loud, no cable management (had to cut my own holes to route stuff behind mobo tray, and that was a tight fit) and mine lacks any sort of removable motherboard tray, etc. etc. For the price I payed, wish I got more out of it... At the time I knew nothing about cases, and just liked the way it looked... Some TT cases are really good, some are decent, some are crap, all depends which you start with.

    Ah squallers, that's great! Thanks!
Still doesn't answer the question of why my lock is the way it is, though.

Seems to be composed of 2 parts: the barrel (left) and the lock itself (the crown-like thing, wider and shorter--right).

My problem is that both of these seem to be separate entities and there's nothing obvious that connects them both:

Holding the 'crowny' bit, lock itself

Pushing the lock onto the barrel

...So it just falls off when I shut the door. :eyebrow:

In truth, the build quality on this case is pretty good. Aside from the lock, I've no real complains, especially since I paid tuppence for it.

There should be a small screw to bolt the lock onto the barrel.
Mine worked lose once when I had been cutting holes into the motherboard tray but didn't completely fall off. It was a nightmare to open the case door afterwards as turning the lock did nothing but the doors were stuck shut. in the end I think I managed to get the screw to fall out then the lock fell off.

So what i'm saying is that there should be a small screw somewhere. I just tried to get a pic and my camera decided to throw a wobbly on me. If I can get it working I will get a pic in the morning for you:)
