i have enjoyed these past 2 weeks of having no virus emails but its all going to start again in a few hours
I can never get email viruses, I read all my mail on-line and my mail server deletes all file attachments :dude:
If you have Outlook Express you want Mailwasher http://www.mailwasher.net/ It will check your POP3 accounts for you and give a summary of all the emails you have received - you can then make a fake "bounce" email for spammers, block domains permanently, delete viruses. Anyone who's got a website in the UK will probably have had some spam from www.trafficmagnet.net - they are now on the banned list in my mailwasher Give it a go
I found it far slower than just downloading and deleting, and the bounced stuff nearly always resulted in an extra "can't deliver" mail. I also use a rule, if ± (alt-0177) present in Subject, delete on server, which at least kills the Korean ones.
