    as the title says :jawdrop:

apologies if someones already posted this. I read about on another forum...

apparently they're replacing the Back to the Future ride at Universal Studios, Florida, with a Simpsons one.

    linky... http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070903/ap_en_mo/theme_park_ride

I for one am absolutely gutted, i remember when i went to florida in summer of 2003 (i think) and loved the ride (being a HUGGGEEE fan of the films helped though). Even back then though the ride was becoming 'dated'. Dont see why they didnt just 'update' it.

You have to admit though that its a well old film now and with todays youth they probably ask what the hell is back to the future?

Yeah, they took our Orlando Uni version out a little while back. One of the greats of the time. I swear the final time I rode it, it was the same friggin' print from when it opened. Ragged is a nice way of putting it.

Now there's a case and a half in favour of punctuation!

"I HATE IT when I enjoy things! If only I hadn't enjoyed it.."

    They're totally nuts!

Even those that haven't seen the movie love that thing.

I went on the ride in LA, I enjoyed it but it was starting to show it's age.

I love that ride. Though I must admit, the blurry screen just doesn't cut it these days.
