I wouldn't know where to start - there's too much. I think my job is mostly to blame though and whenever anyone asks what I do, it's really hard to explain without sounding like a complete nerd. I usually just say I'm a computer analyst or technology journalist - the latter usually causes problems and results in more questions though. I'd say I'm more of a geek than a nerd though. Nerds aren't supposed to have girlfriends/fiancées, are they? Having said that, my fiancée is pretty hip when it comes to technology though.
Hm, I never had that much of a problem explaining what I do back when I wrote reviews, Tim. Maybe you're hanging out with the wrong crowd. Then again, maybe it was how I phrased it. Write about free stuff to get more free stuff If I didn't know better, I'd say that's why I'm not writing reviews anymore (it was actually a massive screw-up by our hosting company)
Being more exited about being able to log into Bit more regularly than moving into our new flat. Getting stuck on Wikipedia for hours.... Just.... Can't.... Turn.... Away
I just got excited to find out that Rail Simulator comes out this week. OK, it's published by EA, but it's written by Kuju, who are the same people who made Microsoft Train Simulator. I loved that game.
