Other Things you hate to wake up to

My area had a power outage about three months ago. I was over at a friend's house for the night. There are four people living there and each is a techy. So they have like four desktops, two industrial routers, a two house servers, awesome wireless, the works. And its ALL connected to UPSs.

So the power goes out, and all of the UPSs start beeping, all over the house. What a racket!

 

Waking up to the realisation of not remembering how the hell I got home.

On one such day way back when I also awoke to....
Vomit......... all over my desk in uni halls, and the searing pain from a severely twisted ankle.

(To this day I cannot understand why I bothered to move my keyboard and mouse out of the way just so I could vomit all over my desk instead of the bin. Priorities eh?)
