Looks great. Although really dissapointed about the positioning of the holes for cable routing!!!

I must have a tidy case, and with an ATX board i can see there being too many wires on show :(

    When is it due out?

Personally I love my TJ-07 although I plan to be getting rid of it soon in place of something smaller - I'm moving for 7 months and want to bring it with me and water is just to insane to transport.

The TJ-11 got a really good write up too. But if budget it your big thing then either 2nd hand or the Xigmatech...

i know what you mean, would have been good if they'd designed it with atx motherboards in mind as well *sigh* suppose we can't have everything D: its meant to be released around may time probably end of may, possible but theres not certainty on that

ah your right there is one, suppose you could get a 24 pin underneath the motherboard, I think its a rampage 3 extreme, so not a proper e-atx board, but pretty much

    Guys - quick question.

Is it pointless me trying to acumilate water cooling parts from the marketplace until i know the case im going to be using?

Ive seen a couple of bits (a rad for example), but i presume you cant really just start getting stuff without some planning?!

Probably slightly pointless, as different cases have different size rads you can fit in tj07 is a 480 and a 240, while the xigmatek is a 360 or a 3 x 140mm + a 480 or a 360, I suppose you could start searching the market place for pumps, tubing, fittings, block etc, but I'd leave the rad till you know which case your going to get :)

It's worth getting all the fittings, it's just the rads that need planning to fit the case. Basically you've got 3/8 fittings and 1/2 inch fitting. 3/8 tubing will go on to 1/2 inch but not the other way round. i like to go this way, you can get sharper bends and if you're using 1/2 inch barbs once the pipe goes on it's never going to come off.

yeah you do, I found it complicated to start with the sizes of tubing and compression fittings etc, but once you get your head around it its not to bad. I found once I'd worked out which tubing size I wanted it was much easier to get my head around, I used 1/2" tubing so you'd use either 1/2" barbs, or and I prefer them because to me they look more aesthetically pleasing, compression fittings, in which case you have to make sure the O/D (outside diameter) and I/D internal diameter are correct. so 1/2" tubing would be 1/2" ID and 3/4" OD check out pete's watercooling guide if you haven't already, its very helpful :)

Brilliant cheers guys. Jeff are you saying you prefer to just stick with 1/2" stuff?

I think that is what i plan on doing

I like to use 3/8 tubing on 1/2 inch fittings, especially barbs, gives a real tight fit. It's not as bulky as 1/2 inch either. Some people will try to tell you that you get reduced flow rates, but that a load of crap. As long as you've got a decent pump sending the juice around it makes no difference at all.

^^ This, especially if your using barb fittings you want to get a nice snug fit, I think sometimes you can even get away with not using zip ties, which makes it look nice :) but then again if its your first time, maybe not :|

I use 7/16 tubing over 1/2 barbs, no clamps/zip ties
No problems so far, prefer the look to clamps and compression fittings aswell
You can get everything apart from maybe rads
But even then, most of the cases you're looking at can support a 240/360, so you can probably get one in safety. If you see a deal, snap i up ;)
