i got a 6800gt (agp version) and have overclocked it to 400 for the core and 1100 for the memory on stock cooling. Is this about as much as i can get, with the stock cooling? and should i put more volts into it or no? another question. in rivatuner it says that the agp transfer rate is PCI. Is that right or is there something wrong? thanks for the help F.B.
What are the temperatures of the chip? I'd set yourself a limit and stop when it starts to hit 80°C at load. You won't be able to increase the voltage on the graphics card unless you've voltmodded it or, in some cases, located a custom BIOS that will allow you to do so.
it was around 70 degrees C load. this was at the end of the day and i was playing c.o.d.u.o for most of the day and running some other benchmarks. i will watch the temps today. and is it corect saying that its transfer rate is pci? thanks for the help. F.B. edit: i think my bios allows you to add more volts, i will post back later today. we are having a party so im not allowed on my desktop.
in my bios i have the main gpu as agp. i have updated my drivers but it still says the transfer raye is pci in rivatuner. how would i fix this? thanks for the help F.B.
