Ok, dumb question time, but it'll help me work out my sizes better..

If you were buying two adaptors from Thorite:

    http://secure.thorite.co.uk/Index_Male_BSPT_Hose_Connector_164.html

..to fit in out/intake of an Eheim 1048, which ones would you buy, and why?

I understand all the sizes etc, but I can't work out for the life of me why what I ordered wasn't what I expected.

    All info greatly appreciated. :)

    Well, the threads on the 1048 are G 3/8 and G 1/4.

That means it's a BSP Parallel thread of 3/8" and 1/4".

So, all you have to do is tell us what bore size you're after and we're golden. :)

Doh, I'm not helping myself by not putting what tubing I'm using either :D

    3/8"/8mm (I know 8mm isn't quite 3/8" but it fits snugly)

    So by my guessing, it's:

    BMH38 and BMH1438

If that's right (confirmation welcomed), I think they may have sent me the wrong things :(.

I had the same problem. My first order wasn't what I expected either.

They were most helpfull when I gave them a ring and explained the problem. They're also aware of how much of there stuff is being used for kooling goodness.

You can get some kits here?
