Looks quite good to be honest, i would add an ssd though, even if it is only 64gb it just means your pc will boot in a fraction of the time.

Also, once you get to 20 (constructive) posts you can get free delivery from scan :thumb:

    Also consider:

    Asus P8B75-V
    i3-3220
    Boot SSD

Single/dual thread performance will out-do that AMD FX, but it'll fall behind on 4-6 ALU/3rd FPU performance

    Ditch the FX.

Can get a i5 and cheap mobo for similar money.

Considering that you're getting a thoroughly decent discrete graphics card, you'd be better off with an Intel i3 3220 with the motherboard that Bindi suggested above.

The other recommendation I would make is a 64GB SSD to use as the boot drive - even if that means breaking your budget, it really, really is worth it - even if you just get the cheap Sandisk drive for £43.97. That said I would go for the Crucial M4 for the extra £12.

    The rest looks great.

I have just done a Similar build myself, I running full AMD including an XFX graphics card, really is good. Just remember to register the XFX within 30 days of purchase to get your lifetime warranty.

The new Piledriver AMD chip is great, i would suggest an SSD but depends on your budget, it boots and retrieves data faster but if you can put up with a HDD it will still be a good machine :).

Good to see some one else not jumping on the Intel band wagon.

    you wont be disappointed.

The system in my sig pulls around 330W from the wall on full load (Prime95 + FurMark). A 500W unit would leave plenty of headroom for fans.
