Windows Thumbnail folders in XP pro

    I have a lot of folders in the "My pictures" directory. But if I create a folder and just insert one picture into it, it will be the only picture that is showing on the thumbnail folder.
    Here's a pic to illustrate what I mean:

    I have more than one picture in the Hightower folder, so why doesn't the folder icon show four of the pictures?

    hit F5. sometimes XP is stupid and wont refresh itself. not as bad as 2k, but still annoying.

    go to folder options -> view -> make sure the Cache thumbnails is unchecked.
