Ok, so it seems to be that time of year, and i'm being annoyed by these damn insects I currently have them crawling around my tft, and inside it, currently have 3 live one's and 3 dead one's inside my screen, behind the glass panel, but infront of the pixels, and on a £750 screen, that's just taking the p**s So, has anyone else got these on/in their screens? are they pestering you? Post your thoughts below. Cheers Sam
There's several 1000 Cichadas screeching away outside at the moment; not as annoying as your problem but it can get annoying.
Ok, now i have 5 dead insects in view Sam Edit, make that 6. Would Dell take the screen back and get rid of them for me as it's still under their warranty?
Call them and tell them that your monitor is full of bugs that are affecting your viewing experience and compromising the use-ability of their product due to design flaws that have allowed the bugs in.
lmao You got more of those bugs in your screen?? I remeber when you found the first one. How are they getting in between the screena nd the glass???
How do you have so many? I live at the back of a field, and get a massive number wanting to come in, just shut the curtains/turn off the light.
Yeah, I got one in my lappy. Saw it crawling around in the screen and I stupidly decided to jab my finger on to it...now have a dead bug permanently splodged as part of the desktop.
I have Tangmere Nurseries just behind me, so loads of fields with crops...and food, damn, looks like i need to phone Dell up, considering i sent them an email, and i've had nothing back at all, might ask if they will replace my 3007 with the new 3008 Worth a shot. Sam
Yea I usually get a few this time of the year, not a huge amount. They always manage to get out again/die out of view.
I think I'd prefer them in my monitor than all over me making me itch like crazy, damn they are annoying. They've also decided to all swarm all over my freshly washed clothes
We had a bug in our fire system at work. It kept going off.Actually, Make that hundreds of thunderbugs in one of the detectors. most annoying
Just searching about these in LCDs because I was curious, and apparently a good way of keeping them at bay is to gently wipe an insecticide containing perethrin - with a tissue on the monitor vents and any other entrance.
Hi, im dan, i am a expert on knowing about thunderbugs, because they piss me off to the holy high heavens. heres what ive learned, by examining billions of thunderbugs/thrips over the few year ive lived near the countryside and squashed them. 1: The come from CORN FIELDS 2: They CAN spread disease 3: Some people have allergic reaction to them 4: They serve NO usefull purpose in life, kinda of like me -- That's only a few, stupid farmers, no offence to any one who is a farmer, but they dont care about them, because they are making alot of money from corn fields, they just plague the entire UK. There is litrally billions of them, i walked outside this morning for example and got covered in them it was unbelivable. SO, i would kindly like to suggest to any insane person out there who might read this, please, either shoot every farmer in this effing country, or burn every field that exists. Thank you .
