    About those articles... Pardon my lack of googling, but WTF is XDR? I'll assume Xtreme Data Rate but why have I never heard anything about it... Good move on AMD's part anyways. However I'm somewhat glad Intel did force their way forward, since that really kicked off PCIE and I might not be sitting next to a pair of 6800GTs if they hadn't done that.

    XDR = the new RAMBUS afaik - we may see it on NVIDIA's next video card. :)

    Well I was close.

    As long as it's fast...

    Anyone notice that DDR2 on mainboards seems to be doing about as well in the enthusiast market (ie not dells) as on graphics cards? There were a few... but most have skipped to GDDR3 in that department. I'm noticing a certain trend :eyebrow:
