Inspired by my time working for a jewellers and drooling over some serious wrist art I would be interested in knowing what your wearing on your wrist/in your waistcoat or around you neck at the moment. I will start off with the watch I'd wanted for 4 years and which my wife bought for my birthday 2 years ago... http://www.oris.ch/collections/collections_detail.aspx?ln=en&modelid=38 Simply beautiful, glass back with the automatic movement on show. The best watch I have ever worn on my wrist for the money (beats a Tag hands down).
Wow! That's a spectacular timepiece! If I could have anything at the age of 15, it would be a copper replica Rolex Datejust. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITvsKY8ushE
Thanks it never leaves my wrist to be honest. I really want a Patek Phillipe, something like this one http://www.patek.com/contents/default/en/5119G_001.html but at 15K its never going to happen!
I think my marketplace thread was your real inspiration The Tag Heuer Monaco V4 is one of my most coveted watches: Front Rear However I currently rock one of each of these: Hard wearing and reliable without being overcomplicated Currently wearing the non chrono one, pictured alongside the one I have in the price check thread. Yes I wear my watches on my right wrist, so sue me
This: I love the simplicity and the fact that it is flat black. The problem? It's a Skagen watch, which means the quality is utter shiet. I had one of those and it needed to be repaired three times in a year -.-' Currently it is lying on my desk with a cracked face and I cannot be arsed to get it fixed.
For me it's the Omega Speedmaster Professional, my grandfather has a 145.012, which was used on the Gemini missions from 1965 onwards, he's looking after it for me. Fifty years later it still keeps perfect time and looks timeless.
I'll just leave this here... http://www.mbandf.com/machines/horological-machines/hm2/views/index.php Apparently, it costs enough to buy a house with. One for the lottery win, methinks Check out their other designs, too.
pah to all this mechanical wonders, Casio gw-m5600, plastic strap, solar powered, automatic light, set by radio waves and a digital display, its the future... today.
Rafael Nadal had a £241,000 loan watch stolen, fortunately police got it back. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs...tch-stolen-while-winning-title-145013098.html
Favourite watch I own: Baume et Mercier Capeland S Chronograph 8502 Favourite watch I'm pretty sure I'll own, in time: Rolex Milgauss GV Favourite watch I'm somewhat less likely to own: Ulysse Nardin GMT +/- Perpetual Favourite watch I'm never going to own: Patek Philippe 5970p. But not being picky, I'd settle for any Patek grand complication.
Too many alu watches. I want a matt black watch with a simple face and a date counter. That is really all I am asking from a watch, and I cannot seem to find any of them.
