That looks huge! I can't understand how people can wear really big watches, surely it limited your wrist movement?
All my watches are huge! I used to have a MASSIVE Brietling but that met an unfortunate expensive end, but that gave me a huge lust over big watches. I do have massive wrists though as well, small watches don't feel heavy enough on my arm. I can't do pressups with my watches on, thats about the only time I tend to take them off, or at least I do my pressups in the morning before I put my watch on.
I can't type with mine on. I've never been able to. It comes off when I sit down at the computer and goes back on when I get up again. Force of habit and all that
I can but it is not pleasant, not sure why as at least my watch is quite small but still feels wrong. How many Brits are using pocket watches ? the amount of them in this thread is surprisingly high.
Not as many as you might think - they're mostly sentimental/collectible now, not really used day to day. This is still the age of the wrist watch
^^ this, mine is an engraved family piece that was given to a great aunt, then to my grandfather and now to me, its in full working condition, covered in hallmarks and is probably worth something, but it also is covered in family engraving, with about enough space on it for me to add another engraving and pass it on to someone when I'm old, which is nice. I have worn it twice with a heavy gold chain when I have donned a DJ in the past couple of years. In fairness this generally happens for me to, its part of the getting home ritual, take my wallet out of my pocket, take my watch off, two things that seem to happen automatically! I have a weird ocd where I can't go out of the house without a watch on, I have only forgotten twice in the last 5 years, and both times apon realising I have had to go home and get a watch - weird, I don't really suffer any ocd's or anything, but my brain doesnt get along well without a watch.
Casio WVQ-570E-1AVER, inspired by motorsports and made to support of the Casio sponsored British Touring Car Championship SEAT team. originally came with a god awful strap which I soon replaced.
This is pretty much the case for me as well, although I wouldn't go home to get a watch, I'd just use my phone I rarely leave the house without one on anyway. When I come home, I take my wallet, watch, phone and keys off my person as well. My car keys hang in the workshop, the house keys hang at the door. My wallet, watch and phone go on my bedside if I'm in the house, a shelf in the workshop if I'm down there or on my desk in the office if I'm in there - It's just second nature
