Spotted a roll of velcro for plant ties in the Garden Centre - thinner, cheaper, and a lot neater than the pucka velcro cable ties I've seen. Boring green, but so's our carpet.
yeah you can buy it in craft stores too. i prefer the tangle and pray you never have to remove anything method myself.
