Windows Time for a defrag?

    Doing a bit of a early spring clean on my computer... I think my drives need defragging :lol: I'm particulary proud of E drive :rock:

    Total fragmentation = 12%
    File fragmentation = 19%

    Total fragmentation = 22%
    File fragmentation = 45%

    Total fragmentation = 25%
    File fragmentation = 50%

    is that IBM drive a 75 GXP? if it is then backup all the data on there ASAP. the 75 GXP is the most failure prone drive ever made. i used to have one. it worked good for 2 years then poof gone with 50 gigs of data. oh yea use Diskeeper 8 to defrag. it does a better job IMO.

    Not to worry, it's a 120GXP ;)

    I know the 60 & 75GXP haven't got a good reputation, but I've got a 60GXP in the girlfriend's pc which is running fine - but I do keep checking the SMART data though.

    My 75GXP started making clicking noises after about 2 years. It's safely hidden away with Win98 on in case of emergencies :geek:

    how can you let your drives get that bad lol! extreme fragmentation!
