I also have that and I'm very happy with it.

If you can afford it the 256GB version, which is around £250-£260 now, go for that.

The Vertex 3 is a faster drive overall but more expensive so the M4 is your best choice.

I'd look at the 6970 2gb model TBH. The extra video memory is never a bad thing, and the 6970 is a beast of a GPU.

That's true. The extra will come in handy at high resolutions and no doubt in future games.

Yeah but he's gone over his budget already and now you're suggesting spending another £140? I'm guessing you misread 6870 as 6970.

It's a really solid build he has (other than that hideous and outrageously overpriced case), and if the graphics card is struggling in a year or 2 then he can replace it; he won't have to replace any of the other components for many years though.

looks like a good build there buddy, nice work :) personally I would say go for a 64Gb M4 and stick within your budget (or nearly within your budget)

Also are you really set on that case? If you are then thats fine, but I would suggest considering one of these as an alternative http://www.scan.co.uk/products/fractal-design-define-r3-black-pearl-mid-tower-case-w-o-psu nice and quiet and clean, and very good case, perfect for your needs I'd say, and dropping the ssd down and changing the case should, I believe bring you in under budget :D

I would say that the lanboy air would be pretty loud even with a few fans in it, and dust as some body else has said (and a cup of tea) would be your worst nightmare with a case that is fully ventilated, I had an antec 1200 up until recently and that had 5 x 120mm fans altogether plus a 200mm in the roof, now the 200mm wasn't too bad, but the 120mm's where pretty loud and this was a case that had solid doors! Now I've got a TJ11 and its much quieter :D Now I must admit I do like the lanboy series, they are very nice cases and could be brilliant if antec put a bit more thought into there design's but I could see from review's that really they are impractical. Hope this has helped you dude and good luck when your new pc parts do arrive, enjoy the excitement :D

the reason why i put the 128gb crucial M4 is as well as windows going on the ssd i am putting world of warcraft on and the last update was 14gb my other games such as battlefield 2, battlefield 2142, borderlands, red faction guerilla and steam will be going on my 2 TB wd caviar green as i dont play them as much and arn't as much of a challenge on the system.

as for the antec lanboy air mdular blue case, there are few cases that i like and i do like that. must admit i do like the TJ11 but is a bit out of my price range lol. the only problem with with the case you sugested is that i have a 19 month old little girl and with that draw she will open it and possibly break it.

also the choice for the case is i plan to keep the wires out of the main part as much as posible and the lanboy is the only 1 i have seen that has a decent amount of space between the mobo mounting back plate and the side pannel of the case

i have sen this, however as much as i do like it i still prefere the lanboy (TBH)

    http://www.scan.co.uk/products/silverstone-precision-ps06b-w-black-with-side-window-w-o-psu

been reading a few reviews on the lanboy and thay said with the 5 stock led fans it isnt noisy and has been given a 95% out of 100 where as the other has been given abou 83%

You seem to be missing a case :p Does that really add up to £1103 with the 6970?

Very nice computer. It might be a bit noisy unless the fans are turned down, but that's the price you pay for a high air-flow chassis.
