Well I own a Lian Li PC-61 case. In the back I have 1 80mm fan for exaust and one for PSU (Enermax). Inside i have a modded card cooler its a big 120mm Delta Fan it doesn't take up any PCI slots but it sucks air away from my GF 4 TI 4600 cause the air from my G card is blowing directly on my sound card. I also have two front intake fans. In the back there are like 4 openings pretty small i would say about 2in maybe 1.5in anyway does anyone know where i can get fans that small. I could use some extra exhaust.

    Thanks. :eyebrow:

try nexfan.com they have fans as small as 40mm, and they're relatively cheap too.... for 1.5-2inches... its gotta be either a 40mm or a 50mm spot... if you measure it up exactly, you're likely to find some there

Are those dual 80mm fans on the back of his case? If they are i might just do that.

    Thanks.

    P.S.
I am getting 4 of those YS tech clear fans. Just in case ;)

Edit: Well i measured the holes on back they are exactly 1.5in. Hopefully Delta makes a fan taht would fit there!!!

Yeh, they are dual 80mm, its a squeeze though so carefull when cutting :)

I know OCS has some 40mm fans (1.5") but have known some to whine in the past so am a bit dubious about using them, i'm not after more whine, hole point of watercooling is to remove all the noise, and boy, that works well, use a baybus to turn all the fans down to a mere gentle rythmic hum. Love it.

A word of warning about small fans - the pitch of the noise they generate is just about the most annoying known to civilisation!

Seriously - I had 2 Coolermaster Cooldrives with tiny 40mm fans in the front and was soooooo relieved when I sold them.

Thats what i was afraid of, shame they dont state pitch levels on the spec of fans as many a time in the past bought a hs fan combo and its screamed like a banshee at me. If anyone knows any "quiet" 40mm fans (Thats if they exist at all) then can ya let us know what they are?

    Thanks
