thank you for the nice words ....@ broots, jezmck , jokkos, Tec, ModimusPrime and...:eyebrow: wiak ;)

I won it.. :) Was the third prize of a modding contest. The manufacturer is http://www.vlsys.co.kr/ and the product is a "M-Play Blast 202".
Since I dunno where are yer from I can't give you any advice where to get it. I think you'll find it with these specs in your country.

Very well made. the heat pipes into the ali cooling fins is very clever. Looks like a high end piece of hifi rather than a pc. :hip:
How are your cpu temps? Able to do any over or under clocking?

    thank you cl0ck_ed.

I'm far from testing right now and it seems that with different software temp meters the cpu temp varies from 55°C to 45°C during blu ray playback.(cpu-load is then at 41% peak)
Currently my tv card is not running( seemingly blown) and I 'm waiting to get an exchange model.

Once my rig is completely stuffed I'm gonna test it and report it here.

The BIOS offers obviously some over and underclocking capabilities. But didn't check it out yet. Maybe underclocking is worth a try to reduce power consumption.

    Will report that l8ter.

    so long.

Looks amazing mate, was looking through random case mods on google, but looking at this, I've decided to start my own case build:)

Some day I'll be able to do stuff as good as that:p

Thank you m8s for the nice comments.

It's been a while since my last update. I was trying to get my tv-card getting to work with Mediaportal. But both cards, cinergy s2 and skystar hd2 sucks.
No way to get them to work with Mediaportal.

So I took a deep breath(after a deep lokk into my wallet) and ordered a digital-everywhwere floppyDTV-S2 to finish this project.
I think I have to fab some custom brackets to squeeze it in coz it's too high for this case.
Thanks to firewire connection it doesn't depend on a existing pci-slot.

I'll come up with a detailed report later this weekend.

so far with a disappointed sigh.

Hiho and thanks for all the nice words.

    Bad things first.
The card shows the same "no signal" while scanning and i burst to tears.

    Then I found this thread
put the unzipped filse into the TV-Server folder an run the "runme.bat" by doubleclick.
Though the card is not a multituner it shows two cards in the config. The FireDTV BDA and a built in Radiostream.

So it is obvious, that the cinergy s2 and skystar hd2 will work with tis patch too.

After that the card shows up with signal strength and signal quality and I was able to scan.
Nevertheless, I got fewer stations than with my running rig. Seems a problem of the signal sensitivity in MediaPortal what needs an improvement coz with the firedtv viewer (based on dvbviewer) I got a lot more stations with the floppyDTV.

Well, next steps are the implementation of the client and Mediaportal GUI and to fab a slot in the front for the CAM and Smartcard(Pay TV) and an attechement which holds the new card.

I will report later with pics.
