    How Tiny?

There is the Eden, the Shuttle boards, and I think Asus makes a small board, but it isn't all that small.

tis about 3-4 months out of date now, but its a starting point! Also its Skt 370 only, they do do mATX/ FlexATX p4 and Tbird mobos too.

    thanks for the replies guys!

ive been looking at microATX but they are toooo big! ive seen the eden platform microITX but the processors dont seem meaty enough! i still want to be able to play games just not necessarily at 1600x1200 with all the bells and whistles!
does anyone one know if ITX or microITX will take ether t-birds or socket 370?

bindi - thanks for the xls, its a good starting point! i assume 'f or m' means flex or micro?

kevo - whats busuit board? it sounds tasty and anthing thats uber is good in my books! :hehe:

I think eden is the only ITX mobo out ther as of now...and small + performance dont go hand in hand...your best bet is a mAtx socket 478 with a AGP slot...sigh....

    This is a b board...

    Its only 5.25" across.

    Heres the specs:

Supports Tualatin Cores up to 1.3GHz Socket 370
    RS-232 x 3 + RS-232/422/485 x 1
    2 x IDE Channels
    LAN 100/10M Optional 2nd LAN
    USB and IrDA
    Savage4 3D/2D LVDS/TFT/DSTN
    Optional TV out
    PC/104 Connector and PCI Slot
    Audio onboard
    CompactFlash-I /II Socket

But because its a very specialized product you will be looking at £500-600 for it. :eeek:

Several types of these boards can be found at http://www.milesie.co.uk/ cheaper ones too!! ;)

That board has an ungodly amount of connectors!? Are the LPT/COM/VGA ports accessible like the old AT ones or something?

I saw Shuttle is working on an Athlon based board with an AGP slot for their SS line of mini computers.

That would make it a great system for LAN parties. As opposed to now, where they are good as LAN party servers. Up to a point.

That would be the bees knees.
