Graphics Tiny Switches on X1800XL

    I just got a HIS X1800XL and on the back of the card there are two tiny switches covered by a plastic sheet, anybody got any idea what there for??

    Probably PAL/NTSC?

    on me old 9500NP it had a switch...and yes it was PAL/NTSC

    I seem to remember you have to flick switch 2 to put it into PAL, but if you leave it then it autodetects or something. Not sure why you have a switch when it can auto switch but....

    when i was 4ish, my twin brother and i were given a motorised train, he loved it, i wanted to know why it moved so i took it apart, 'course i didnt understand that you could unscrew things i just used a hammer. Got in alot of trouble :D

    'Unscrew'?! What the hell's that?! :D
    The hammer is still my weapon of choice (along with fire)...

    As everyone has already stated, it's a switch for PAL/NTSC. Can't remember why there are 2 though...I think my old AIW card had 2, one of which possibly had something to do with the video input.
