I got my Titan Fenrir today from ebay (used but in very good condition) I have all of the following parts in the picture below except the bracket in the middle which I believe is needed for an LGA775 setup.

    Can anyone confirm this?

    Cheers,

If its the item I have circled in red then yes it is indeed needed for LGA775 as its the main back plate and it helps distribute the weight of the cooler.

If its the item I have circled in yellow then that is for an LGA 1366 setup and wouldn't be needed if you have an LGA775 setup.

In the auction, the seller stated that he had all the fittings for LGA775 and that he had tested it on this platform, however I dont seem to have the part that you circled in red... I have contacted the seller about this and hopefully I get a reply...

Hmmm not sure I was surprised I got it to work because I usually can't get things like this to work. Maybe try resizing before you try to upload IDK

Yeah, any 775 backplate can be used, but the OP was told the Fenrir was tested on a 775 socket and had all fittings, so he should have one anyway. Some eBay sellers are rotten, tbf.

Still no word back from the seller - He has included the LGA1366 fixture but not the LGA775 - didnt know that you could buy them though so may take a look into getting one this week from somewhere.

Once I get one, its down to giving the system a good clean (Dust filters are doing a magic job - only thing is they get filled up quickly!) then installing the new Titan Fenrir!

    Cheers :thumb:
