    So, million pound question.

    Better than Doom?

I reckon so, but it's slightly more acrobatic.

They're different, but I think Titanfall has more ideas.

So, in short - DOOM does one thing very very well, Titanfall does a lot of things very well. If that helps.

How long did the SP campaign take for you to complete Jake?

8 hours. I think I could have done it quicker but I took it really slow and replayed a couple of bits.

Cheers... sounds like I'll be waiting for a sale, though. So many games to play, so little time.. I'm still glued to Civ VI... and then there's Deathwing around the corner, Dishonored 2, Tyranny (which looks AMAZING).. and that's just this month :(

As any player should. I can't stand people who just rush through single player campaigns. Stop and admire the sights!

My first run through a game is always flat out, but luckily games are not a single use product.

Unless it's the Battlefield 1 campaign.

Not that it's any of my business and it is your game to play after all, but why? You could be missing subtle story elements or neat little things that make you think 'heh'.

loving the multiplayer at the moment, really fluid.

As soon as you get the Titan Legion you can just lay waste to the other team though. No other titan can take it out unless your 3v1

    Well, why not?

I like playing games fast, when it's multiplayer I'm of the almost Leeroy Jenkins mentality, when it's single player it's a relentless charge towards the finish. If a game's well made it will engage me enough to go back and play it again and potentially for a third or fourth time to really explore it.

If I burn through it and think it's crap, well, didn't waste much time finding out.

A really, really good game turns my flat out play through into a long play through by default. Mt first run through Mass Effect was well over 40 hours, because Mass Effect was too awesome not to explore.

Well I just played the level named Effect and Cause, that was genius. What possessed EA to release this in the week between Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty? They've doomed this game and it's excellent.

I finshed the campaign a couple of days ago, it was top notch.
