Well got my PC code from EA after they sent me an xbox version. Must admit I'm finding it a lot of fun so far. I was very surprised how fluid the mechanics are, very slick indeed. Heck even the auto-pistol isn't that bad as you have to spend a while locking on, if the people you're playing are any good then that's tough enough. Found myself getting more pilot kills with the automatic guns instead, the pistol's great for mowing grunts mind given how short the lock on period is for them, plus they don't move around. It'll be interesting how fresh the experience is a few days down the line though, or whether like the Bit-tech preview mentioned it will become a little samey.
I didn't receive a key but after seeing on another forum abit of information I thought I would try it and it worked. All I did was contact EA via the live chat and said my key that I was sent wouldn't redeem, I made up a 20 digit code in case I needed it but I didn't and after 20 minutes or so I had the, Titanfall beta added to my library on Origin. Also if you get sent a Xbox One key all you have to do is contact EA and they will change it for a PC key.
I was lucky to get a Beta code off a mate & so far its very enjoyable the addition of the grunts is nice gives you something a little easier to help boost your titan drop rate. The wall jumping and parkour of the game does add to the gameplay it adds another dimension but does mean you have to watch all your corners as people come from all over. The best bit is still chassing after a titan and jumping on its back or better then that Ripping the pilot out of the titan with yours and smashing him against a wall its awesome, will see how much life this game has after a couple weeks.
My download speed went crazy when I was downloading it. My mate is just downloading it now and a whopping 1MBp/s so had to show him this.
Downloaded... installed... launched... ... waited 25 minutes for it to try to connect to a game ... ... waited some more ... ... gave up ... ... uninstalled
Just recieved code have to wait untill midnight to download because 3 serverly throttles download speed during day
