Wow - didn't realise how much better the PC graphics were than the Xbone... Shouldn't really be surprised though...
The real question is, how much worse than the Xbone version are the 360 versions graphics? With the adoption of that random resolution (792p!) for Xbone and the unexplained two week delay on 360, I'm betting the answer is there's going to be very little difference at all.
Never going to take anything gametrailers ever review as creditable. They just scored it 9.3.... Its not a bad game, but my fuking god it does no deserve anything close to that! Main stream reviewers cannot be trusted at all.
Different opinions. Most people I know like the game, you don't. Saying you don't trust reviewers because they like the game is just silly.
The problem with main stream reviewers, ones for large publications it is say good things or never get to print a word again. People like Angry Joe, Total Biscuit can say whatever the hell they like, because they work for themselves and are known to be critics. Not fanboyish tools who ask a publisher how high to jump and then jump. Having played a few matches, it's clear some things need to worked on. Hell being stuck in a spawn/die loop because it had been swarmed by players was stupid. Hell there are already prestige level 3 players out there.
pre-loading my copy now. Just got $10 off from greenmangaming. tried the beta for a few minutes only and love it. frustrated, but love it. worth $50 in my opinion. (yes, even with Origin. Battlefield players know its not that bad already.) See you in-game, boys!
Just a heads-up for those who pre-ordered it through www.cdkeys.com - the keys are now available through your download link. I just activated mine and am pre-loading it Not quite sure what's up with origin though as it claims I'm getting 17 MB/sec (bytes not bits) despite me thinking that my connection was only a ~50Mbit connection (or ~5MB/s) Edit: It appears to have settled down to just over 6MB/s now which is more normal lol
holy ****. ok, so i didnt play much at all during beta.... but holy. freakin. ****. that was fun. just did a few rounds of campaign and a couple team death match. i suck but i did a bunch of titan rodeo and managed a positive KDR.... i mean.... wow. $50 well spent. hadn't that much adrenaline rush since.... well.... Quake 3. PS: My Origin handle is R3DBEAVER. game automatically put me in US North server though... PPS: My 660Ti handled this game maxed out at 1680x1050 just fine. in case anyone wondering. i have to say, graphic-wise, it's not Crysis. let's just put it out there. but when things are moving THIS fast..... man..... it's pretty.
Also it would appear that there is still no SLI support for this... New drivers released yesterday from nvidia don't have it in... GK Edit: OK - now it says 40MB/s... Really not sure what's it up to...
I was going to buy it through proxy but i was put off by the beta I have had several games through Origin store using proxy's and not had any trouble yet, sim city, BF3 premium and BF4 premium to date
Well there we are - all downloaded and installed. According to WinDirStat it takes up precisely 50.0GB... Good job I plumped for one of those Seagate SSDs that was on offer recently...
I don't think there is any evidence to support this statement at all, is there? I'm sure all the writers for Bit Tech would be pretty insulted to hear things like this too. TB etc just have a more candid way of saying something is crap.
All I have seen is very positive reviews towards the game, ofc I was not refering to Bit Tech. I wouldn't be here if I thought that the sites writers where biased in anyway. Other than to PC Master Race Ultimately I am a little disappointed in the game so far, maybe a game to play with friends rather than pubs.
Im not saying i dont like the game or its bad... i get why people like it, and i would of respected the dission of it getting say 8/10 or something, but 9.3 is total BS Fact is: there is no single player, Its a COD clone with mech's ( Movements, handling, animations, perks system ect all feels like its copy pasted over from MW) Nothing stands out about it looks like a game from 5 years ago. Nothing new with games modes apart from pilot hunt, rest are re-branded COD game modes. Very limited arsenal repetitive gameplay Even with that said, im not hating on the game, there is plenty of fun to be had with it, just pointing out that it has far to many negatives to warrant a score like that. Understand that anything 9/10 or above is close to perfection... which Titanfall although a fun game, is far from perfection which im sure we can all agree on.
Well found money in my paypal account and decided against my judgement and thought i would give it a try I paid £23 using a proxy through Origin Mexico, downloading right now for money i forgot i had (£17) and putting a fiver towards it i wont be too huffed if it is not that great
