Wasn't it Freud that once said that sometimes a watermelon is just a watermelon?

    The world is bonkers.

True. He also had a habit of passing out when Jung challenged him on things.

    Very odd chap.

    TIL

The sample that plays through Linkin Park's Faint is a few seconds of strings from From Russia With Love.

TiL that a single piece of celery is called a rib, not a stalk which refers to the whole cluster of ribs.

That if you choose the Uber option to share a ride, you still get it cheaper if the driver doesn't have another passenger. Trip to the hospital for an x-ray this morning cost £8 return, instead of £20-24. I would normally get an Uber there to ensure I'm on time and a bus back, but the bus takes FOREVER, and is also a bus. Full chufty badges moment for me

Oh and I also learned I can type my pc password into a keyboard with no caps on first try

TIL, the demon Crowley, in Pratchett and Gaiman's Good Omens, was named after an occultist, author and mountaineer, Alastair Crowley, who was nicknamed, The Wickedest Man in The World.
