Okay, this is probably not something I have "L"d today as such, but it's made me do a LOL, a ROFL and whatever the hell else is cool these days. A PSML?

I just got told "not to kiss my train". I asked if it was alright to do so if it was stationary.

Is this with you inside or outside the train? If outside, kissing the moving train could prove somewhat painful…

Yes. It seems like with a lot of things, position is key...

But if inside, very much equals germs.

TIL - There's a "secret" Goodies show on Audible, titled "The Big Ben Theory"

Recorded in 2019, it was going to be a series, until the plague times took Tim Brooke-Taylor from us.

Not today, but a few weeks ago I learnt the correct order for tooth cleaning is floss, mouthwash then toothpaste, as it frees up the surface of plaque for the fluoride to get in, and toothpaste has around 7x more fluoride than mouthwash, so doing mouth wash last is essentially cleaning it off!!!

Yeah I heard a dentist somewhere say mouthwash and then toothpaste.

Had been doing it the other way for years, makes sense when you think about it though I guess

I got it from Reddit, and yeah, totally makes sense, bit its the opposite to the adverts, and the directions on the bottle say to use after brushing, I just checked!!!

Novamin in Sensodyne Repair & Protect is some cool stuff as well and is only sold in that toothpaste. It reacts with saliva to build a sort of artificial enamel. Since switching I've been able to have drinks with ice again.

On topic tho, the map feature in nginx configs.

I've always mouthwash after brushing, and have no plans to change now, but if your brushing last you're going to rinse your mouth out with water as the final step, surely that'll wash away any residual fluoride anyway?

The advice is that you do not rinse after brushing, only spit - and don't drink or eat for at least half an hour.

    Source.

Yeah, you're basically rinsing off everything useful! Its a chemical/medicinal process as much as a mechanical one (probably even more so)!

I can accept that, but I'll be sausaged at the thought of going to bed with toothpaste residue in my gob.
