    12w soldering pin would be ok for breadboard, but if im wiring 16g wire or better i find its easier to get good joints using a 130w gun.

    Antex soldering iron - cheap, cheerful, heat-up nice n quick and blinkin lurvly to hold.


    If you are made of money, go for a 12v weller with power station and all the gibbins.

    most of this stuff people have lynig aroun the house or you can borrow froma neighboor.. I still only have my dremmel to cut with

    and eddie Dane i would have to disagree with your technique for cuttin plexi.. I tend to go arond 6-8k rpm with my dremel not the low setting (it broke on my dremel) anways although it may make plexi shards it clears fast enuff that you can finish the job faster without comprimising the intergrity or quality.. thati is if you dont mind havin all those lil plexi shards aronud.. and to snap it i cut about have way through then using a piece of wood on either side to diffuse weight i bend in opposite directions that usually does the trick
