I'm admired the STALKER games didn't make the steam list, at 7.50€ for Shadows of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat together. Even I got them...

STALKER is an awesome set of games (yeah so it's buggy what the heck...) some of the best atmospheric games I've played in a long time (just try walking through a dark marshland... when you know there are things called 'bloodsuckers' running around that are nigh on invisiable and have a distinctive 'prepare for fresh trousers' noise when they see you.) glad to see people investing.

The Sims... Why oh Why do women think they're allowed out of the kitchen onto a PC?! [Don't call me a sexist/cheuvanist etc... I made the same comments last week >.<]

I went for the STALKER package too - even though I didn't particulalry get on with Shadow of Chernobyl. Getting the latest version for about £6 seemd like a bargain and having them on Steam I thought was worth it.
I can't think about the first game without remembering the joke - Why don't you wear boxer shorts near a Russian powerstation? - Chernobyl Fallout! Sorry - had to share!

It's interesting that Starcraft II isn't in Steam's list. Are they even selling it?

Do GameStation know they sell PC games? (I see they've remembered for ME2).

Me three! Shame my graphics card has just died the day before Worms is available to play!!!

Need to work out how I'm going to drain my waterloop without spilling everywhere so I can fit a new card.

Off topic but anyone know if going from a 4870X2 (my broken card) to a 460 would be much of a performance drop or am I going to have to go for at least a 5870 to match my old card?

I would say you'd have to go for a 5780, since the 4870x2 is still an insanely fast card. But depending on the resolution you are using, the 460 is still a very good buy.

on topic, I can't believe that Kane and Lynch is even mentioned in these charts. But I guess the game has got a nice cover and stuff.

That Kane and Lynch picture kinda makes me sick. Like it's cool to randomly kill.

It may be hypocritical to say that as I play Crysis and such. I just think there seems to be a big difference in thinking it's fun and cool to kill vs a strategic war like feel. Or is there really no difference ??
