It's true that only Schumacher could drive the FXX around the track, hence why he was the Stig in that episode. However, there have been episodes where the Stig is taller than the host (not sure which one) but Schumacher isn't taller than him. So it's obviously just a 1 EP thing. I do hope they kept the same person in that suit, or else it would ruin the whole thing imo. Anyway, great show, which we had something like that on Dutch television
I laughed at the stig stalling/hitting the cameraman at the end, with Jezzas comments that he didn't think he was the Stig after all.
Well, one thing to look at will be the Stig's gloves next week. When Schumacher had them on, they had some red bits on, which I've never noticed before (yes, I watch Dave far too often). Could be a sign, perhaps. Also, in the credits, where it says 'Special Guest - Michael Schumacher', surely it should have said 'The Stig' instead? Who knows.
damn damn damn im not convinced now. i really believed this but i dont know now on the web it says lewis hamilton is 1.74(5'8.5") meters tall and michael schumacker is also 1.74 meters tall but in this pic the stigs shoulders are alot higher than lewis's though we cant see his head it has to be taller and the internet also says Jeremy is 1.96M (6'5") in this pic i dont think there is 8.5 inches in it between the two. the top of the stigs helmet is just about the height of clarkson if you ignore the hair and i cant see there being 8 inches of helmet above his head that first pic could be just anyone in the suit with lewis but the second i think was the 320d with their biodiesel at the 24 hour race so id say that has to be who ever it is. i do believe it could be michael though, 13 episodes twice a year, might take a week or so to get all the shooting done if it was coordinated properly. but i think someone would have figured it out by now some how. im more inclined to believe it was a few ppl and it was michael schumacker this week because it was his own FXX. grr i was sure i believed this awhile ago. he is an awsome driver so its possible it was him i think
Its not lupus Schumacher, No way would he have time/bbc afford his insurance/ be arsed to do this all dressed up with out people knowing who he is. This was a stunt for the relaunch, though frankly i'm appalled at TG using such cheap stunts what with it being an factual show.

I can't believe how likeable Schumacher has become since retiring, and making jokes too. If only he'd said his name was Perry McCarthy. My only gripes are that the FXX should be removed from the board and that Schumacher didn't do a proper lap in the Liana. Oh and no, not The Stig. As soon as I saw the red Alpinestars logos while driving the FXX I knew it wasn't The Stig. Come to think of it, I didn't notice which Stig drove the Liana. Oh yeah, Captain Slow won! Good going Mr May.

Gah, I should have gone to the RGS, the school at the start, instead. Mclaren F1 versus Bugatti Veyron was a nice touch.
I love Top Gear always have, but im beginning to find it a bit of a drag tbh I cant really put my finger on why though. It wasnt a bad episode but just seems all very samey.
