I watched this with my two neighbours - and i think we all said the same thing... ".......wow..." We all had goosebumps at the end of the Aston piece. Season 14 is defo happening - its on Top Gear site, and Clarkson announced it earlier, Joe
The remake of the golf commerical with the actor shooting himself at the end was quality love the expressions on the add execs faces.
Wow.. worst season yet? Seriously, there wasn't one epic episode like the Vietnam or mini limousine challenges.
Personally I prefer the episodes where the whole thing isn't based on a single challenge, I prefer the mix. This season was pretty good, if a bit too... Forced. Otherwise great imo.
This episode reminded me what Top Gear used to be like before they got obsessed with challenges. Not an outstanding episode but it gives me hope for next season.
A good episode imo, Leno was a good chat and an interesting fella. The series in general I wasn't overjoyed with. I like the big challenges and missed them not having one. Maybe next season
The Astin Martin, what an amazing car, I loved the hood. such a good review. and Leno, not really surprised Clarkson didnt go through all his cars, would have been well over an hour, not to mention his bikes as well.
I suspect the Aston bit was done, at least in part, to show that they could have made a good advert if they wanted to. It sold me, despite the vents. I loved discovering Leno had owned so many Lamborghinis after Clarkson's thong comment.
Agree. Only difference being the Aston martin piece was much better than any TV adverts for cars, perfect end to an otherwise decent season.
"An Ending (Ascent)" by Brian Eno, apparently. edit/ And about the series length, I thought they've always done two series of 6 ep's every year since they brought it back?
