Have quite a few of the latest Ferrari's not had 3 pipes? I'm sure i've seen one with 6 (split to 3 either side). edit - looky here
Yeah, but that's understandable, as 6 is divisable by two, so three pipes service one bank of cylinders - probably by having three tails pipes on the back box that services that side of the engine. Here, a V8 is being split into 3. How? As I said before all I can think off is both sides of the exhaust system being merged into one box with three pipes.
Yeah that'll be it, pretty sure the design is harking back to the F40. Although in that the middle pipe was for the turbo wastegate
