    Awsome, really looking forward to it being back on TV. The Polar special was just brilliant, hoping the new series holds up.

    I've seen leaked pictures of a Veyron racing a Typhoon, so yes it should be just as great as ever.

    Hopefully VW/Bugatti have let them take the Veyron around the track to set a time.

    they're racing a Veyron a mile each way along a track, against a Typhoon flying above it, turning vertically then flying back over the car. Unfortunately, I don't think they'd ever let the Stig take a Veyron around the track... :(

    Afaik yea Hammond's in the veyron...
    Also, didnt they let Tiff drive the veyron around a track somewhere?

    Is there an actual date of when the show comes back? I presume it'll be Sunday as in the past? Am looking forward to this being backon our screens. Let's hope this series last longer than the last season's 6 episodes.

    Can't wait for the show to come back, have been getting my fix with 5th gear at the mo but no matter how hard the 5th gear crew try they just can't seem to make an entire entertaining episode, sure there are some good and funny bits but these seem to few and far between.

    @RTT: Thanks, I think they'd be silly to change from Sunday nights. A winning formula!

    @IAmATeaf: I am not quite sure why 5th gear doesn't work. The only thing I can think of is that the presenters don't have the same chemistry as the Top gear trio. All of the segments in 5th gear seem to be done individually and without the banter. It does have its moments, but the formula is just a little out of date these days imo.
