they bought a toyota pickup with more mialge than my rover rusty battered to hell, huge rust holes int he side drove it into trees walls, down stairs, nothign dunked it int he sea tied down, it broke loose, got it pulled fromt he sand dune cleared the sand out & got it firing agian (with no new parts & this had been int he sea for hours & hours and hours) they dropped it, they ran it into a shed, they dropped a caravan on it, they hit ti with a wreckign ball even set fire to it but it still worked
Yeah, couldn't believe my eyes, especially when they torched the car....left you thinking that it was well and truely roasted! But no! It managed to survive! Got to be something good for an 12 yr old pick up truck!
My grandad in North Africa has one, and has had his since late 80's and has been everywhere/anywhere and yet it still goes to this day Loay.
yeah, that was cool - don't think they coulda really let it burn though - if the fire had got to the petrol tank it woulda been all over surely?
Wasn't it a diesel though? Couldnt believe it still worked after 5 hours in the sea though - all that sand in the engine bay - and the thing still started!
I want one!! But I want one of the ones with the extra foot of suspension clearance Wouldn't have paid £1000 for it though!!!
can do that with old scooby's too.... back in the day my brother had a 85 subaru gl hatchback... we ran it with no oil for over 8000 miles and it didn't die... my brother's mate is still driving it to this day... has something like 400,000 miles on it
that was kool funny comment they made about austrialia and 3rd world countrys i wonder if it would survive after a carbomb
Of course they just created a new classic car A) They just made it interesting by attempting to destroy it and failing B) They made it rare by lots of people going out and buying the thing to see if they can destroy it
